Kedar K. Desai

Project Engineer

 

ROLE AT AEC:         Mr. Desai assists clients in the preparation of air quality, storm water, and industrial wastewater permit applications for compliance with local, state and federal rules and regula­tions.  As an Envi­ronmental Engineer he assists with air toxic computer modeling related to Health Risk Assessments.  Provides technical and engineering assistance in interpret­ing data and chemical process designs for environ­mental projects.  Performs Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for various clients.

 

EXPERIENCE:            ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CENTER

                                    Mr. Desai researched Aryl Phosphate Esters and other lubricants through use of a Universal Wear Testing Machine, scanning electron microscope, EDXA software, FT-IR analysis and statistical analysis.

 

                                    Cleveland State University

                                    Mr. Desai provided instruction in OSHA training, reactor design & process control laboratory operation, and data logger software.  He also provided motion analysis lab and statistical analysis assistance to professors.

 

                                    DANACO- Bombay

Mr. Desai provided assistance with set up and inspection of water chlorinating systems.

                            

                                    Mr. Desai has additional experience using the following equipment: fourier transform infrared spectroscope, differential scanning calorimeter, thermal gravimetric analyzer, vapor deposition ovens, high pressure liquid chromatograph, atomic force microscope, and scanning tunneling microscope.
