Jared Z. Kropf

Project Development Engineer

 

ROLE AT AEC:          Mr. Kropf assists clients in all aspects of day to day project coordination.  He serves as the single point contact for projects and has the responsibility and authority for day to day technical, cost, and scheduling aspects of the project, including subcontractors.  He will direct and control team activities and will exercise overall responsibility for planning and organizing work.  With his strong chemical engineering background and experience in regulatory com­pliance with local, state and federal rules and regula­tions, he works closely with clients in the implementation of various diversified projects.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:            Kleinfelder Inc. 

                                    As a technical engineer Mr. Kropf provided support and expertise in preparation and revision of reports and presentations for clients.  He was also responsible for preparing necessary cost estimates and supplying tech­nical assistance on various site assessment and remediation projects.

 

                                    Lehigh University

                                    Mr. Kropf designed and implemented studies for the recovery of calcium nitrate from power generation wastewater.  He also designed, built, and evaluated a PEM fuel cell.  Jared provided instruction in chemistry and operation of laboratory equipment.

 

                                    Idaho National Engineering & Environmental Laboratory (INEEL)

                                    Jared collected plant, soil and groundwater samples for site assessment projects.  He also analyzed water samples for progress monitoring of an in-situ CERCLA site bioremediation project and for groundwater evaluation.

 

                                    BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY

                                    As a member of the Design Institute for Physical Properties (DIPPR) Jared Kropf researched chemical property data for the database development.  He also evaluated water samples in a humanitarian water quality project.  As a teacher, Mr. Kropf instructed over 100 organization representatives in a high-density, two-month Russian language and communications training program.
